Registration, a simple procedure
Online registration for CCFS takes place in several stages to guarantee a smooth and simple experience:
Select the course you wish to take from our offers, and pay a 30% deposit or full registration fee.
After your payment, you will receive a login email to your student portal. Submit the required documents, including your diploma, passport, and a photo. After checking your documents, the secretariat will validate your payment.
You will then be able to download your registration certificate or your invoice. In addition, you will have access to your Study&Co space to best prepare for your stay in Paris.
If you come from a country subject to the CEF procedure, you can create an account on the Étude en France platform. You can then present your registration certificate to complete your visa application at the French Embassy or CampusFrance.
In time, you will have to finalize payment of your registration fees if they have not already been paid in full. You will then receive an email with the information needed to take the remote placement test. You will also receive the student guide with all the information regarding your course.
Information meetings will be organized to guide you as best as possible. When all these stages are complete, the secretariat will give you your student card. Your teacher will then tell you which books you need to follow your courses at the CCFS.
Obtain a Visa to study in France
Depending on your country of origin, you may need to obtain a visa to study or learn French in France. Citizens of the European Union, Switzerland, and the European Economic Area can study in France without requiring a prior visa.
For nationals of other countries without a French residence permit, obtaining a visa is however essential to stay in France. Depending on the reasons and duration of their stay, international students have different options. The Long Stay Visa: this visa is ideal for students because it can be extended to pursue higher education in France. Valid for 4 to 12 months, it exempts its holder from applying for a residence permit. This visa allows you to travel within the Schengen area, work part-time in France and apply for housing assistance from the CAF. The Temporary Long Stay Visa is valid for 4 to 12 months and cannot be extended in France. It does not allow part-time work or requests for CAF aid. It is suitable for those considering a gap year learning French. The Working Holiday Visa or “Young Traveler” is aimed at people aged 18 to 30 from 16 countries whose objective is the tourist and cultural discovery of France, including learning the language. With a maximum duration of one year, it allows the exercise of a salaried activity.
