The additional test of the TCF “all audiences” on computer may consist of an oral expression exercise. This is an individual test during which the non-French speaking candidate faces an examiner who assesses his or her ability to communicate orally in French.
Thus, the TCF+ oral test is made up of 3 compulsory tests, presented in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQ), with and additional test “Oral Expression”:
- Oral comprehension: Collective test: 29 multiple choice questions (4 answer choices, only one correct answer, duration 25 minutes)
- Mastery of language structures: Collective test: 18 multiple choice questions (4 answer choices, only one correct answer, duration 15 minutes)
- Written comprehension: Collective test: 29 multiple choice questions (4 answer choices, only one correct answer; duration 45 minutes)
• Oral expression: Individual face-to-face test with an examiner: 3 exercises (duration 12 minutes including a 2 minutes preparation).
French Knowledge Test (Test de connaissance du français, TCF) with an additional oral test is an excellent way to assess candidates’ French language skills, with an emphasis on comprehension and oral production. It allows candidates to demonstrate their ability to communicate in French, an essential asset for non-French speakers who wish to stay in France for a long time.
The Cours de Civilisation Française de La Sorbonne as an approved exam center for taking the TCF on a computer, offer candidates an exceptional setting to take these oral tests. Enjoying an international reputation, CCFS can also offer quality preparation to candidates thanks to experienced teachers and leading educational resources. This allows candidates to feel confident and prepared for the TCF oral tests, highlighting their ability to express themselves fluently and precisely in the language of Molière.
