Course objectives
The “French Business and Luxury” certificate offers international students the opportunity to improve their French language skills and enter the luxury sector. It includes French language and phonetics courses, as well as specialized courses in French business. Moreover, the certificate serves as a concrete introduction to luxury brand management.
Detailed program
The French Business and Luxury Certificate is a one-year program jointly conducted by Sup de Luxe and the French Civilization Courses of the Sorbonne. It consists of two semesters and allows for the attainment of 60 ECTS credits. The courses are organized and taught at Sup de Luxe in the mornings (9am-12pm) and at the CCFS in the afternoons (2pm-4pm and 4:30pm-5:30pm + conferences).

Highlights
Upon validation, this program allows international students to directly access the 2nd year of the Luxury bachelor’s degree at Sup de Luxe. This “French Business and Luxury” higher certificate is a year of training jointly provided by 2 reference institutions in their respective fields.
Validation of acquired knowledge
Continuous assessment (regular evaluation of work and progress), language examination in the first semester (end of January at the CCFS), final exams validating the higher certificate (in May for the CCFS (in-house exam + DFP examination), in April for Sup de Luxe). A higher certificate is jointly issued by the CCFS and Sup de Luxe upon successful completion. It is also possible to obtain an official language certificate during the program.
Target audience
The “French Business and Luxury” higher certificate is aimed at international students who need to improve their French language skills and wish to join the Luxury sector.
Prerequisites
B1 level proficiency is required for enrollment in this program. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, and comply with residence formalities (nationality, visa, residence permit, etc.).
Course material
Manuals and/or authentic documents (audio, visual, and written) provided by the teacher. Workbook and exercises created by the teacher.
Visa
This course meets the criteria for obtaining a student visa for students from outside the European Union.
Application requirements
– Admission to the course is only final upon complete payment (at least one month before the start of classes) and after validation of the registration file.
– A registration certificate is issued after payment of a deposit and presentation of administrative documents (copy of identity document, translation of secondary education diploma, passport photo).
– A mandatory online placement test assigns a level to students before the start of classes. Additional testing may be required for students in certain specific cases.
– Registration is done online or directly at the admissions office of the institution by paying a 30% deposit of the course fee.
– Annual administrative fees of 75 euros are applied upon registration.
